My September 2014 Ipsy bag is here I was beyond excited to see it in my mail I opened it up instantly even though I already knew what was going to be in it. If you don't already know Ipsy is a $10 monthly cosmetic subscription with 4-6 deluxe samples and full sized items. Each month they have a new theme for the bag and this month's theme is Street style. They offer new brands that you haven't heard of as well as some known popular makeup brands.
Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color ($9) This was the first time in my Ipsy glam bag it's in the color Red Red Wine which is a beautiful burgundy, perfect for the fall. I was excited to try this so I immediately painted my nails this color . I've been wearing it for a couple of days and it has chipped a little but overall it has been great. I would love to try other colors from the this line in the future.
Nourish Organic Face Cleanser ($2.33) I wasn't to excited for this because it's nothing special but I did try it. It has great reviews on their website so I decided to give it a shot first of all it smells pretty bad but it gets the job done it does leave the skin dry so lotion is necessary but overall it was a great item to try.
Mitchell and Peach Hand Cream ($13.81) This is the item I was least excited for because really lotion that's a disappointment I would have liked anything else but lotion. It's supposedly a luxury cream but I couldn't tell the difference between this and my normal lotion. It doesn't really have a fragrance it just smells like lotion which I like because I don't like strong smells especially in my lotions. This was the only item in the box I didn't like and I gave it to my mom she liked it she's more into lotions than I am.
Smooth Criminal Powder ($12) This is by Be A Bombshell which we've had in plenty of other Ipsy bags. I adore there logo it's so cute. It's been a great brand they offer plenty of cosmetics at an affordable price. This is supposed to be like a translucent powder I believe so but I haven't yet tried it so I can't say if I like it or dislike it.
Hikari Lipstick ($13) The last item in my Ipsy bag was a lipstick in the shade cabernet which is described as a rich red wine on their website. I have never heard of this brand so it was nice to try out a new brand. The packaging feels very cheaply made and the lipstick was a tad bit drying bot overall the color was great it's darker than shown in the picture and it's perfect for fall. I love lipsticks so I was overly excited to try this and I liked it but I didn't fall in love with it.
