Lip Monthly September 2014 Review

I received my Lip Monthly bag today and I really like the bag it's cute and a good quality I'm quite impressed with the bag itself. It did take a while to get here which was driving me crazy!

This was everything inside my bag and at first I was excited for some products and disappointed for others but it was great to try it out for only $5.

Julie G nail polish Romeo ($3.99)I love this color it's stunning but it's not exactly a fall color. I couldn't find this anywhere online so I believe it's discontinued since it is from the Valentine's Day collection of Jessie's Girl and the name fits good with the collection which is quite cute. I will use this for what is left for summer and this was a good find overall.

Cherimoya Eye Liner in Latte 24 ($4) I don't use eye liners or lip liners so this is a miss for me I don't like it I haven't even opened it up because I know I won't use it

Pur-lisse pur-moist ($18) I've heard wonders of this brand and I'm really excited to try it since it's so expensive I want to see what's all the rave about. It says it's a hydra-balance moisturizer so I'll try it out and see if I love it just like everyone else does.

Ecolips Hemp Vanilla ($3.49) At first when I was saw this I was like really chapstick but I'm always in need of one I lose them all the time and this one is organic so that's great. It does smell like herbs and medicine as well as vanilla so it doesn't smell all that great but it is very moisturizing on my lips.

Cherimoya Lip crayon Coral ($8) I was happy when I saw this because I'm obsessed with lipsticks and lip stains band the packaging is the best I've seen in a while. The actual product was okay the color looks pigmented in swatches but not so much on the lips it mainly looked like a tinted lip balm so I was disappointed to say the least.

This bag was alright I'm excited to try the nail polish and the moisturizer but everything else kind of sucked. I really liked the bag it was a great addition and really cute.  The total value was $37.47 which was great since I only paid $5 for the first box. If you want to subscribe click here and you will get your first box for $5 as well. The normal cost of the box per month is $10 which is the same as Ipsy and Birchbox.  The only complaint I have to say about this subscription is they charge you a month before the bag which sucks because I've already been charged for the October box and I barely received my first box today so they didn't give me a chance to try it out and decided if I like it or not.

Influenster Victoria's Secret Review

Influenster kindly sent me a Victoria's Secret box to review and I loved the two products I received they are excellent quality and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

It all came inside this really cute Victoria's Secret box and wrapped up very nicely.

The first item inside my box was a Victoria' Secret Angel sport bra in the information it says it has medium support and I agree but it did fit me a tad bit big so I would definitely with a size smaller. The print is absolutely gorgeous it's very summery and it makes me want to get up and work out. The retail value of this bra is $52.50 but I couldn't find the exact bra so I went with the similar type of bra. I really like this bra and I would recommend it if you like to work out.

These are the Victoria's Secret knockout crop and I'm in love with them they fit me like a glove and they are super comfortable. I definitely want to buy more of these perhaps in a flowery print. I'm extremely impressed with these! On the tag it says there retail price is $59.50 wow these are pricey but worth every penny.

September 2014 Ipsy "Street Style" Review

My September 2014 Ipsy bag is here I was beyond excited to see it in my mail I opened it up instantly even though I already knew what was going to be in it. If you don't already know Ipsy is a $10 monthly cosmetic subscription with 4-6 deluxe samples and full sized items. Each month they have a new theme for the bag and this month's theme is Street style. They offer new brands that you haven't heard of as well as some known popular makeup brands.

Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color ($9) This was the first time in my Ipsy glam bag it's in the color Red Red Wine which is a beautiful burgundy, perfect for the fall. I was excited to try this so I immediately painted my nails this color . I've been wearing it for a couple of days and it has chipped a little but overall it has been great. I would love to try other colors from the this line in the future.

Nourish Organic Face Cleanser ($2.33) I wasn't to excited for this because it's nothing special but I did try it. It has great reviews on their website so I decided to give it a shot first of all it smells pretty bad but it gets the job done it does leave the skin dry so lotion is necessary but overall it was a great item to try.

Mitchell and Peach Hand Cream ($13.81) This is the item  I was least excited for because really lotion that's a disappointment I would have liked anything else but lotion. It's supposedly a luxury cream but I couldn't tell the difference between this and my normal lotion. It doesn't really have a fragrance it just smells like lotion which I like because I don't like strong smells especially in my lotions. This was the only item in the box I didn't like and I gave it to my mom she liked it she's more into lotions than I am.

Smooth Criminal Powder ($12) This is by Be A Bombshell which we've had in plenty of other Ipsy bags. I adore there logo it's so cute. It's been a great brand they offer plenty of cosmetics at an affordable price. This is supposed to be like a translucent powder I believe so but I haven't yet tried it so I can't say if I like it or dislike it.

Hikari Lipstick ($13) The last item in my Ipsy bag was a lipstick in the shade cabernet which is described as a rich red wine on their website. I have never heard of this brand so it was nice to try out a new brand. The packaging feels very cheaply made and the lipstick was a tad bit drying bot overall the color was great it's darker than shown in the picture and it's perfect for fall. I love lipsticks so I was overly excited to try this and I liked it but I didn't fall in love with it.

This month I think Ipsy was successful they definitely raised their game up from last month which sucked. I'm happy with my bag it had 3 full sized items and 2 deluxe samples which is enough for me to know if I liked the product or not. The theme this month was okay nothing special or exciting but the lipstick and nail polish did fit in which were also my two favorite products. The total value of my Ipsy glam bag for this month was $50.14 which is a great price since I only paid $10. I'm impressed with Ipsy and I can't wait for next month to try out some new products! Go ahead and join here so you won't miss out in great new products.
